President Trump took Justin Trudeau on mission after the Canadian Prime Minister attacked the president’s drastic tariffs on imports from Canada.
Trump’s 25% tariff on Canadian and Mexican imports came into effect in the middle of the night.
Trudeau will respond by imposing a 25% collection on billions of dollars of US imports, with many tariffs imposed by the end of March.
On Tuesday, Trudeau made a speech on Ottawa’s Congressional Hill Press, tore him apart for imposing President Trump.
“I want to talk directly with the American people first. We don’t want this. We want to work as friends and ally with you, but you don’t want to see you hurt either. But your government chose to do this to you. The market has declined as of this morning and inflation is set to rise dramatically across your country. Your government has chosen to put American employment at risk in thousands of workplaces that have been successful with materials from Canada, Canadian consumers, or both,” Trudeau is adjacent to Foreign Minister Melanie Joy and Minister of Finance and Intergovernmental Bureau Dominique LeBlanc.
Trudeau accused Trump of hurting American national security.

Trudeau called out President Trump in his name and said imposing tariffs was “what to do.”
“It’s not my habit to agree to the Wall Street Journal right now, but Donald points out that this is a very stupid thing, even if you’re a very smart guy,” Trudeau said.

President Trump responded quickly by threatening to impose more tariffs on Canada.
“Explain to Canadian Governor Trudeau that if he places a retaliation fee on the United States, our mutual tariffs will soon increase as well!” Trump said true socially.
