The final schedule for the 2025 Stanley Cup has been set. You can watch the rematch from last year’s final. The first match will take place on Wednesday, June 4th. The Edmonton Oilers host the Florida Panthers. This is the first time I’ve seen a rematch in the final since 2008 and 2009. The Detroit Red Wings then won in 2008, while the Penguins won in 2009.
How did Florida and Edmonton perform in the 2024-25 NHL regular season?
During the regular season, Edmonton scored several more points than Florida (101-98). The Oilers’ regular season record was 48-29-5, while Florida was 47-31-4. Both teams finished third in their respective divisions. If Edmonton could pull out a victory, it would be the first time in years that a Canadian team has won the Stanley Cup.
