Dear readers, Lady Whistledown is back again. Bridgerton season, and this time her own love story (that doesn’t need to be known to the public). Classy as always, Bridgerton Season 3 The film mainly focuses on the friendship between Penelope Featherington, played by Nicola Coughlan, and Colin Bridgerton, played by Luke Newton, as it develops to a new level.

What’s in Bridgerton Season 3?

While seasons one and two focused on Daphne and Anthony Bridgerton, we are now following the story of Collin Bridgerton and the girl next door. Penelope was many things to Collin, but she wasn’t a love interest. She was Collin’s sister’s best friend, the girl next door, a friend, and someone who had a crush on Collin. It’s no secret to viewers that Penelope has had a crush on Collin for years, but we feel our girl is finally ready to move on and rebuild her life. She is currently searching for a husband after being heartbroken in the previous season.

What caught their attention?

Besides giving Nicola Coughlan the attention she most deserves, Netflix also gave the now hugely popular Benedict Bridgerton more screen time as fan service. Benedict Bridgerton has always been one of the fan favorite characters, but after this season, he has definitely gained a huge following. Luke Thompson’s charm is worth studying at a university. He seems to be people’s new crush, and I don’t blame them! The beautifully written dialogue is great as always.

Bridgerton is famous for many reasons, including the orchestral remixes of popular songs. This season, Pitbull’s “Give Me Everything” has been in the spotlight, as no one expected such an iconic party song to sound so classy. Major kudos to the makeup and costume department for gracefully directing the show in keeping with the theme. They definitely grabbed attention and complemented the characters of the show.

What is it about the show that is bothering us?

The show seems rushed in its writing; it lacks spice, passion and slow-burn romance. Bridgerton Story. Colin’s character doesn’t get much development this time around. After being a supporting character in the past two seasons, this season was meant to make him a knight in shining armor, but rather lacks in character. He tries to help Penelope, but only out of guilt for insulting and hurting her. Later, he ruins her chances of meeting a great suitor, but only out of jealousy that she didn’t get one. He acts like a child who tries to get his toy back as soon as another child starts playing with it. He sees Penelope happy with someone else who wants to marry him, and feels lonely for missing her attention. Some may call it “true love”, but I think it’s a childish and immature thing for an adult to do. Bridgerton Characters. Nothing against Luke Newton, but his character development hasn’t served the show well.

Not only is there a lack of a slow-burning, passionate love story, the show seems to have completely forgotten about Daphne and Simon Bassett (played by Phoebe Dynevor and Rege-Jean Page), while Anthony and Kate Bridgerton (played by Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley) appear in one episode and aren’t even mentioned for the rest of the series.

Nicola Coughlan – star of the show

Nicola Coughlan shines brighter than any star in the sky. Both Nicola and Penelope are role models for body positivity. Young girls and women all over the world identify so much with Penelope and seeing her embrace herself, be happy with who she is and get a complete makeover to feel more like herself is sure to create positive waves among fans. Unlike the past two seasons, the third season will also focus on other characters in the show, creating branching and storylines for future seasons. But no one shines brighter than the gracefully crowned Nicola Coughlan.

Is it better than the past two seasons?

Each Bridgerton The story has a unique charm that keeps our eyes glued to the screen. Some people like season 1, some prefer season 2, and some prefer season 3, but is season 3 better than the previous two? Probably not. Nothing beats season 1. The show focuses on the “friends to lovers” storyline, but it lacks the essence of romance. No, I’m not talking about excitement, but it’s completely lacking in heart-throbs. Pauline’s storyline is heart-throb at times, but not as much as in previous seasons. The foundation of the couple was laid from the first season, but it’s not as strong and passionate as we expected.

Bridgerton Season 3 Part 1 Currently streaming Netflix. part 2 Scheduled to be released on June 13th.
