I’ve been missing Fort Zech lately.
The Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy defensive back starred for the Ascenders again in the fall, kicking off the year with a strong showing at the 2025 Under Armor Next All-America Game in Orlando . He is currently attending Polynesian All-Star Game Week in Hawaii, just in time to be taken off the top prospect list.
Juniors (in no particular order) georgia, ohio, notre dame cathedral, florida, Alabama and florida It remains on his list, expected to be committed as early as next month.
Fort detailed how each program found success with Rivals.
Georgia: “Georgia is a great program with a great defensive tradition. The staff is great and they produce NFL safeties.”
Ohio: “Ohio State is a school that I loved growing up. It has a great history of producing NFL players and winning championships.”
Notre Dame: “Notre Dame has been great this season and is always developing a top safety. The ND staff treats me like family.”
Florida: “I was talking to Will Harris, who plays for Florida, and he’s a great guy and he protected my position. I’ve had a great relationship with him over the years.”
Alabama: “The University of Alabama is a program that has recruited me since I was in ninth grade. They have a new staff coming in and making me a priority, which is important to me.”
Florida: “FSU has recruited me since eighth grade and treats me like family. Coach (Mike) Norvell is building something special.”
