Xbox held its Developer Direct Showcase today, detailing its progress on three games we know about and one all-new title. Ninja Gaiden 4. If you weren’t able to watch it, check out the following:
Ninja Gaiden 4
Ninja Gaiden 4 It is being jointly developed by Platinum Games, known for the Bayonetta series, and Team Ninja. The trailer introduces a new protagonist, Yakumo, and Team Ninja is promoting the game as the game’s “true successor.” Ninja Gaiden 3 after failure Ninja Gaiden Z Spin-off. It certainly seems like a perfect cross between classic Ninjagaiden and Platinum Games action. It will be released this fall on PC, PS5, and Xbox, and will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one.

south of midnight
After Ninja Gaiden, south of midnightpreviously created Compulsion Games’ next game We Happy Few. south of midnight has been in the works for a long time, and the studio has been particularly good at communicating its progress in recent months. So, aside from the release date of April 8, 2025, there wasn’t a whole lot of new information here. )

Claire Obscur: Expedition 33
Claire Obscur: Expedition 33 It’s been on our attention for a while and still looks great. This is the debut game from French studio Sandfall Interactive. Inspired by the golden age of France in the late 19th century, claire obscura is a fantasy adventure that seems to be drawn heavily from the world of JRPGs. Even the music at the beginning of the Sandfall segment sounded like the Velvet Room from the Persona series. Again, the big news is the release date – April 24th. It will be released on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox consoles, and will be available to play on Game Pass from day one.
Doom: Dark Ages
We knew it was coming, but id Software’s Doom: Dark Ages Deep dive certainly caught the attention of Engadget. It’s being touted as the biggest Doom game ever, but it’s more focused than any other entry in the series aside from the original. doomperhaps. dark ages It’s a tanky adventure through medieval space hell, starring an incredibly tough slayer with three basic inputs: shield saw, melee, and guns. Doom: Dark Ages ‘ is scheduled to be released on May 15th for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S (including Game Pass).
