Carnival energy continues St. Marchen Carnival (April 21) and Jamaican Carnival (April 27th).
March marks the beginning of Caribbean turtle nesting season (peaks in leatherbacks in May and June). Turtle Watching A veneration: A woman can lay up to 100 eggs (sometimes more) each time she builds a nest, and after about 6 weeks, hatching runs into the water. Special permits or guided tours may be required as part of a conservation effort to protect these vulnerable and endangered species.
In Barbados, March will feature international jockeys and trainers, preparing thoroughbred horses to compete for famous horses Sandy Lane Gold Cup (March 1) With the grand fanfare and charm, just like the moon Bridgetown International Art Festival (March 1-31) Currently underway. It’s time for the regatta! Yacht takes you to the water for both Georgetown Cruising Regatta (March 19th to April 4th) and National Family Island Regatta (April 22-26) At the port of Exa in Elizabeth Port, the Bahamas on the voyage of the Bahamas – the island’s national sports – brings mountains of adrenaline rush and fun.
Yachts are also facing windy waters in Antigua Antigua Superyacht Challenge (March 5th-9th), Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta (April 16-21) and Antigua Sailing Week (April 26th to May 2nd).
St. Marten has lots of action – from St. Marten Regatta (March 6th), SXM Music Festival (March 12-16) and St. Marchen Carnival (April 21st to May 5th).
In Guyana, Trinidad, Suriname, Hindu communities and local Hindu communities, no one escapes with colorful and loving showers (or sprayed) abir in Fagwa or Holy Celebration (March 18th). Featuring rhythmic drums, dances and songs, the Fagwa – Hindu “Festival of Colors” also known as the Hindu New Year – celebrates love, renewal and rebirth. All faiths are welcome.
Meanwhile, until Easter in Guadeloupe Club Festival (March 14th-31st) Morne – Ario. Goat-based dishes work in Fate Kabrit (April 19th-20th) Radesirede. With such nutrition, it will be strong and Guadalun Island Marathon (April 19-27) along each trail of the six residential islands of Guadeloupe.
In nearby Montserrat, St. Patrick’s Day (March 17) The celebration will take place 10 days before the great public holiday celebrating the island’s Irish heritage. Highlights of the festival include early morning parties, all-white events, concerts and all-big street parades.
