Social media platform focused on oncology belong.life has announced a strategic partnership with AI-enabled patient engagement company Equiva.
Belbing’s conversational AI mentors include Dave, an AI focused on cancer care, and Fred, a mentor for sustainable weight loss, better health and lifestyle enhancement.
The bulnd.life AI companion is offered via Equiva’s in-hospital and home-based digital platform to provide “scalable, smart, empathetic patient support.”
AI Health Mentors are accessible to patients and caregivers via tablets or mobile phones. Patients will ask health-related questions in real time, prepare for a doctor’s visit, translate medical documents and summaries, access guided support related to discharge, access to a list of questions they can ask their provider, and receive customized emotional and behavioral coaching.
“By integrating Dave and Fred into Equiva’s widely deployed platform, we put strong, intelligent and caring support in the patient’s hands, precisely when needed.”
“This partnership supports our mission to humanize our digital healthcare experience and provide scalable and smart solutions that bridge the gap between patients and care teams.”
Equiva CEO Nir Altman pointed out that partnerships go beyond advanced technology as they are about improving access and outcomes.
“By embedding AI into daily patient interactions, we unleash new ways to educate, empower and engage,” Altman said in a statement.
