“Things work, things don’t work. Everybody acts like they can predict whether something will work or not,” she told the outlet, “but they don’t. Things work, and then they blow up on TikTok. Things work, and then you look at it and you’re like, ‘Did that work?’ There’s no secret. You just have to do something good and it works at the right time. The rest of it is like wishing and praying.”

“I’m not afraid of failure, I’m not afraid of people having negative thoughts about something. I personally loved ‘Madame Web,'” she said. “I really enjoyed the movie. I thought everyone in the cast was fantastic. I think the director, SJ Clarkson, did a fantastic job. She made me want to be in the movie.”
Roberts has some thoughts on why the film didn’t get much attention.
“I think it would have been received differently without Internet culture and without the joke being made of everything,” Roberts said, without elaborating on why the film was targeted in the way it was. “And what disappoints me is that now people are going to make a joke out of anything, even things that I’ve done.”
