Elton John and Brandi Carlile have teamed up for a new single. “It’s never too late”. The song, co-written with Bernie Taupin and producer Andrew Watt, will appear in an upcoming Disney+ documentary. Elton John: It’s never too late. Check it out below.

“I found an early cut of the documentary that was later made into a film. Elton John: It’s never too late I was very moved,” Carlisle said in a press release. “It was truly amazing to see historic footage of Elton and the trajectory of his life. But as wonderful and beautiful as everything we were witnessing as fans, his life was sometimes quite… It was also lonely and difficult, and I thought this documentary portrayed a really important feeling. Because he may not have found his serenity and peace before. But he found it, and he found it later in life. It’s never too late to find the love of your life, start a family, or change your mind about anything.

John commented: “I was so happy when Brandi told me that she was so inspired by an early cut of the documentary that she wanted me to write a new song with her for it. I knew her for a while, but it was still very moving to read her lyrics and co-write the music with her, especially seeing how personal it was to see my life on screen. Considering that she is a documenter She perfectly captured the essence of Lee and why I quit touring to spend more time with my family. Her skills never cease to amaze me in a way that only Bernie could ever do. I know that Bernie has mentored Brandi, and her level of musicality, her songwriting, and her passion for what she does is truly sensational. He’s one of the greats.”

Directed by RJ Cutler and David Furnish. Elton John: It’s never too late will be released on Disney+ on December 13th.
