The Baltimore Ravens legend made it abundantly clear: TMZ Sports This week, he thinks Jackson deserves more attention than Allen…and he doesn’t seem to think it’s particularly close.
“Josh had a great year, no question,” Reid said. “But he didn’t have a Lamar year. He had an MVP year, but he didn’t have a Lamar year.”
Reed likened the whole thing to a sprint…said in recent weeks that he believed Lamar was far ahead in the race.
“There’s only one thing that brings [Allen] If someone trips up Lamar, it’s a big deal,” Reed said. “And no one is tripping up Lamar.
The two quarterbacks will get a chance to prove who truly deserves the NFL’s highest honor Sunday when the Ravens visit Buffalo for a big divisional-round playoff matchup.
Baltimore is currently the one-point favorite, but Reid knows it could go either way, calling this “a Super Bowl in and of itself.”
