In his last two years at UAAP, Lettamer was named Best Setter and Final MVP twice, leading NU to the historic “4 Pete” that concluded his college career.
He also led the Bulldogs to the 2022 V League Collegiate Challenge Crown and Back-to-Back Spyker’s Grass title. Elena, who opened in 2022 and invited conferences in 2023, ultimately became a club team against Cignal after graduating from university.
In his second year with the seventh appearance of the Cignal HD Spyker and the seventh championship, Lettamer wrote about the game 3 differences with fierce rival Criss Cross two weeks ago to win the 2025 Spyker Turf Open Conference title in front of a strong men’s volleyball audience at Philsport Arena.

Perhaps the most won player of his generation, Lettamer was the starting setter for the national team, which won silver at the 2019 Southeast Asian Games, but his point was to keep him grounded at all times.
“I’m really blessed, and I’m not just about myself all the time. Many people have helped me from the start. My coaches, teammates, family.

“Champions come and go, but you’re the value and the respect you show to the game and others. That’s what you should have a real ‘streak’. ”

The next big challenge for the 23-year-old playmaker will lead the Alas Pilipina of Japan’s Asian Volleyball Union (AVC) Champions League next month as part of a build-up for the historic hosts of the FIVB Men’s Volleyball World Championship in September.
“That means a lot. If I called back before, if the team needs me, I’m particularly willing to learn from foreign coaches and new systems,” Lettamer said.
“It feels like a fresh start. And now I feel even more responsibility and pride to represent the country, as I was already part of the team last year. It’s incredibly exciting to play again for the Philippines.
The two-time spiker lawn best setter is committed to continuing his growth despite his recent successes and is keen to growing the country’s sports, especially male volleyball, by inspiring the next generation.
“Now I just want to continue growing. I want to give back not as a player, but as a person, especially the next generation of athletes, especially those in the state who once dreamed of something big,” he said. “If I get the opportunity to inspire even just some of them, that already means a lot to me.”
Retamar and his team at VP Global Management are about to launch Camp OWA to share their skills with children from various states.
