Demi Lovato‘s house has grown with four little legs!
The singer and her fiancé, Jordan “Juutz” Rootz, announced that they’ve welcomed a little pup into their home. Earlier this week, the “Tell Me You Love Me” singer shared photos of the puppy with the world, along with an adorable introduction.
“Introducing our new son, Pickle,” the 31-year-old songstress wrote.
Beneath the caption is a photo of a light brown puppy with traces of white fur staring straight at the camera, proving it’s camera-ready. Lovato didn’t tell fans what breed the dog is, but the pup resembles one she’s had in the past.
Roots shared a sweet moment with Pickle on his Instagram Story.
“Little nap next to my feet,” the rocker captioned a photo of Pickle lying next to his feet and napping.
Pickle joins Lovato’s other dog, an adorable little black poodle mix who often appears in her photo books.
Pickle first appeared on Lovato’s Instagram last week as the final slide of one of her photo posts, though at the time she didn’t reveal his name to her followers.
“Swipe at the new hair color…” the songstress captioned the post, which revealed her new blonde highlights and a first look at her puppy.
Lovato has always had a special relationship with dogs. In 2015, the “Give Your Heart a Break” singer’s Maltese mix Buddy, who she shared with ex-husband Wilmer Valderrama, was killed by a coyote. In 2019, The singer honored him with a tribute tattoo His face was painted on her ankle.
Lovato, The Roots and Pickle are preparing for a new chapter in their lives. The two musicians announced their split in December. Announced their engagement.
In March, Lovato penned a sweet tribute in honor of her husband’s birthday.
