The Nintendo Switch 2 is finally available for purchase in the US. The $450 console was officially sold on Midnight ET on June 5th, with several retailers offering devices both online and in-store. As expected, online stocks have dried up pretty quickly and remained very limited as of Friday afternoon. This also applies to Target, and online sales began around 3:30am on June 6th.
Generally speaking, people seem to have had more luck going to physical retailers. There is no guarantee that you can still get it that way, but even if you don’t have a pre-order, you could still grab the Switch 2 on Thursday at your local Target or GameStop. So before you give up, check if it’s a nearby target, GameStop, Walmart, or Best Buy. Four official retailers Nintendo List The store page still has consoles in stock.

You may not have luck with a specific membership-based retailer. Naturally, Nintendo sells many Switch 2 accessories along with the new console. Most of these were also available on June 5th.
