DENVER–(BUSINESS WIRE)–CSG® (NASDAQ: CSGS) today announced that as part of the Board’s long-term succession planning process, Ron Cooper, current Chairman of the Board, will be stepping down from his position for the final time. Current director and industry veteran Marwan Fawaz will replace Mr. Cooper after the annual general meeting in May 2025, when the board will terminate his term. General meeting of shareholders.
Mr. Fawaz has been a director of CSG since 2016. A 25-year veteran of the technology, media and communications industries, he served as an executive advisor at Google and Alphabet (NASDAQ:), and as CEO of Nest and Google/Motorola Home. He held executive positions in charter communications (NASDAQ:), Adelphia Communications, and MediaOne. Additionally, Mr. Fawaz serves on the boards of NRG Energy (NYSE: NYSE:) and Ubicquia Incorporated.
