Confidence in President Trump’s ability to address the broader economic situation is also quite low. Only about one-third of Americans are “very” or “extremely” confident in their ability to handle the economy and jobs. Nearly 2 in 10 people are moderately confident, and about half are either somewhat or not at all confident.
