Clemson added two big pieces to its wide receiver recruitment class on Saturday night, when Name Burrows and Connor Salmin committed after Elite Retreat.

In fact, Burrows and Salmin are on the small side and will be perfect for the Tigers for the next few years.

Over the past decade at Clemson, the coaching staff have fallen in love with receivers outside of these monsters.

The problem is that many of them aren’t panning out, so it looks like a million dollars, but it’s hard to say no to players on the recruit trail – many of them are playing like some coins in your pocket.

At 5-foot-11 and 190-pound Antonio Williams scored the Tigers last season with 75 catches for 904 yards and 11 touchdowns. The previous year was Tyler Brown, 5 feet 11 and 180 pounds. In 2022, Williams led the team in almost every category as a freshman.

Of course, there are exceptions.

The former five-star Tee Higgins was a Clemson superstar and later became an early second-round NFL draft pick. He could stack up 6-foot-3 receiver TJ Moore and become a star in the production of Death Valley.

Former five-star Justin Ross also lived up to expectations at Clemson, and it can be argued that it was an early draft pick if it hadn’t been a devastating neck injury that scared most NFL teams. He was not drafted in 2022, but he still plays for the Kansas City chief.

But there were many mistakes with each of them – or those who seemed destined to be great, just not realised. Size is part of the equation, but many have been unable to connect it in Clemson for many years.

The late Dion Dreoverton, who was killed at the 2024 party, had 55 career catches and was not drafted. Frank Radson and Joe Ngata looked like ready-made physical freak superstars, but not when Radson transferred Miami And UMASS and Ngata are currently playing for the UFL Birmingham Stallion.

ajou ajou is no-no and has been forwarded to South Florida Before going to Garden City and CFL, before being greeted by the Indianapolis Colts. EJ Williams, who was under consideration for five stars, has moved. Indiana And now I’m out of soccer.

4 star Dakari Collins has been transferred NC status And the four star Bo Collins was transferred Notre Dame However, he is expected to be a slow round pick at best. Probably an undrafted free agent.

In the 2023 class, big receiver Noble Johnson lasted for two years at Clemson, having three catches and then bounced Arizona.

This brings Clemson Landing Burrows Saturday night celebration news, top 50 prospects and Salmin sneaking into the Rivals250 with his final ranking release.

At 6 feet and 175 pounds, Burrows may be the closest to Williams in terms of comparison.

I chose Clemson for 4 stars Texas, USC, Florida Others and sources close to the Jacksonville, Fla. Boles program said Saturday night that his pledge was “out of nowhere.”

“Just the value and principles of coaching (Dabo) It’s amazing that the love from the whole team, the coaching staff and the community has risen up,” Burrows said.

The Salmin is 1-2 inches larger, but can play in slots, move out, and is used in jet sweeps during junior season and has power speeds. He certainly isn’t big and not wood, despite the fact that the outside of the specimen is quite 6 feet 4.

Clemson has tried these players before, but it wasn’t always going well.

Burrows and Salmin are getting smaller. And it’s big.
