There’s been very little information about the next installment in the Civilization series so far, but that’s about to end: Fans can expect gameplay from Sid Meier’s Civilization 7 to be shown around the world on Gamescom’s opening night on August 20th.
How to Watch Civilization 7 Gameplay Reveal Online
Gamescom takes place every year in Germany, but if you can’t make it to the convention, don’t despair. Gamescom Opening Night Live Stream live on our Twitch channel.
Starting at 11:00 AM PST / 14:00 PM EST, fans can watch all of the opening night reveals, including the Civilization 7 gameplay reveal trailer.
But if you’re specifically interested in Civ 7, Firaxis Twitch Stream On August 20th at 1:30pm PST / 2:30pm EST, a 20+ minute video will be released showcasing a wealth of gameplay details and information, along with insights from the development team into the game’s vision.
Of course, those lucky enough to be at Gamescom can head over to Hall 6 and visit the Civ 7 booth throughout the duration of the convention.

Additionally, PAX West will be taking place later in August, where a Civ 7 developer panel will be held. Thankfully, this will also Stream live on the PAX Twitch channel 19:00 BST / 11:00 PT.
Anticipation for Civilization 7 has been at a fever pitch ever since a chance tease in early June sparked excitement. Reaction to the announcement on Reddit has been overwhelmingly positive, which is no surprise, as it’s been eight years since Civilization 6 was released and fans are eager to see what comes next.
