Puppy’s love! Chrissy Teigen and John Legend Adopting a rescue dog and welcomed new members to their furry family Wag and Walk.
Ren’s parents, couples (1, Estee, 2, Mile, 6, and 8) have a fun home with Poodle, Pete, Bassethound, Pearl, Mixed Terrier, Pebble and the latest addition, Bulldog and Dudley.
The puppy initially needed extra soft and loving care after suffering from pneumonia, but Dudley is settled and coordinated with the help of a nonprofit dedicated to saving at-risk dogs from overcrowded shelters.
“He’s still a puppy at the center of it, so it was rough for a few weeks, but when he came out from the other side it was really beautiful,” the author, 39, tells ET.
“It’s hard to hear him want to play, jump on our bodies, have fun with us, play with the kids.
And it paid off because he feels he’s home now.
“He’s really having a great time with the other dogs. … They all fit well together and it was fun to see how they interact,” the model shares.
The same feelings apply to his relationship with his furry companions and Teigen and his legendary children, especially his son Miles.
“Dudley really loves Miles. They have this special bond. Walking the door from soccer and basketball practice, he goes straight for Dudley and Dudley is very excited to see him,” she says.
This may be due to the dog’s pleasant loving nature.
“He is a small tank. …He is small, but strong, and very happy. We are trying to train him and I know he can escape with me in murder. …Dudley will definitely take advantage of the amount I have allowed him to be free. …I’m trying to get better about it, but he’s so cute, so it’s difficult,” she cried.
To help their pets learn and grow, the family has made sure to feed premium food and products from his company, Kiss Met.
“As part of your dog training, you need to be able to reward them and be able to show them when they do something good. …He of course loves food, but he’s really excited about the treats of dogs,” she shares.
