China is beginning to feel a heated passion over President Trump’s tariffs.
Xia Baolong, a senior Communist Party (CCP) official of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), which governs the Hong Kong and Macau regions, was attacked by Trump over the decision to impose 145% collection on goods from the region.
“The US is not after tariffs, but we are very surviving,” Xia said in a TV speech.
“The US has repeatedly contained and restrained Hong Kong… and this ultimately backfired itself.”
“Let Us farmers suffer in front of five,000 years of Chinese civilization,” he continued.
“The Chinese don’t cause trouble and are not afraid of trouble.
“Pressure, threats and threats are not the right way to deal with China,” he added.

The statement did not come from Xi Jinping himself, but the strictly controlled nature of the CCP means that Xia almost certainly had his approval before launching his tirade.
The comments could have been retaliation for similar remarks made last week by Vice President JD Vance, who defended Trump’s policies.
“We borrow money from Chinese farmers to buy what Chinese farmers produce,” Vance said in an interview with Fox News.

Asked about Vance’s comments at the news briefing, China’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Lynn Zian said, “It’s amazing and sad to hear this vice president make such ignorant and rude comments.”
Meanwhile, the Chinese Embassy in Argentina A response has been issued On Tuesday, in comments from Treasury Secretary Scott Bescent, he accused China of accusing China of “enormous debt” through “intense transactions” disguised as foreign aid.
“We advise you to adjust your thinking rather than spending time smearing and attacking China repeatedly and interfering with foreign cooperation in regional countries,” the embassy said.
