Caribbean vs. Regular Collethrow
For my lovely readers who prefer vegan and Mayo-free salads, this is the best coleslaw. i promise. Mango adds a tropical talent to sweeten cabbage for a marriage made in heaven. Jalapenos (also tasty with regular coleslaw), hot sauces and almonds are well-added to Caribbean cuisine.

- Please wear it – Add parsley and almonds, drizzle over the dressing and coat it just before eating. Chill and serve if necessary. (Photos 7-8)

Flavor twist
- Apple and pineapple Both work well if the mango is out of season
- celery It has a lovely salty sweetness that complements the cabbage salad
- Red onion If green onions are not available, add a color. Thinly slice and add with carrots and mangoes
- Apple cider vinegar also works if you don’t have red wine vinegar on hand
- broccoli. Store the broccoli stems and add them to the slow for low-waste meal preparation. Mice and peel off the hard outer layer and the Julienne or grated julienne. Or a pre-covered bag of broccoli throws will give you a great time sale
- Fennel It offers a lovely flavour and crispy feel. Slice or grate the bulbs and chop the leaves for a light licorice twist
- Turnip There is sweet, crispy white meat. Even a simple Julienned Turnip makes a good snack with a vinegared dip. How much is it used for mango coleslaw?
- Roasted Peanuts If no one has an allergy, it’s an economical alternative to almonds
Recipe Tips
- Julien’s Vegetables. Have you noticed that slow salads usually have uniform vegetable cuts? This is because it makes it easier to mix, season and eat salads.
- Shredded vegetables using a food processor. It makes vegetables easier to make them easier because you know.
- Add a bacon bit. For additional crunch and smoky flavor, easily cover the coleslaw with a bacon bit. So simply put, you have a new dimension of the coleslaw experience.
Makeup and rest
Assemble the dressing, cover and refrigerate in a glass jar for 1-2 weeks. Assemble the coleslaw (excluding mango and nuts) and store in a salad spinner to keep it fresh for almost a week. When ready, add the mangoes and nuts and throw them in the dressing for fun.
Leftovers should last for 2-4 days in an airtight container. Mangoes can discolor and salads lose some of their crispness, but they will still be tasty.
If you’re worried about your limpness, stir-fry it and serve it over rice. Cooked vegetables tend to last longer and can be frozen.
