Ensipen fans were furious after reports of serious privacy violations that the group’s dorms surfaced. According to a legal notice from Belift Lab on June 30, 2025, an unauthorized individual allegedly broke into an Engypen private home and attempted to secretly record its members.
The incident was reported to police immediately, and police arrested the suspect on the spot. Belift Lab said the charges include illegal trespassing and stalking violations under South Korea law.
The company said it expressed concern that this was not an isolated incident and that despite multiple previous warnings, such violations were only exacerbated. The statement also addressed the mental and emotional impact on Enhypen members.
“Recently, there has been a serious case of stalking in which an individual illegally entered an artist’s residence and photographed the artist illegally. Recognizing the seriousness of the situation, he reported the suspect for a crime on the scene or for a crime of stalking. The suspect was arrested on the spot and is currently under investigation by police.
Enhypen fans quickly joined social media to criticize the so-called “fans” behaviour that crossed personal boundaries. Many noted that idols deserved basic safety in their homes and demanded long-term action. X user, @saniyasarchive, wrote

“Not only have you entered the artist’s abode, you have not only recorded them!! For God, you have made it happen for so long, so I hope you realize this is what happens. A fan wrote it.
“I am truly pleased with this statement and the measures taken. They are being implemented as corrective actions rather than precautions, but this would have been ideal from the start – I sincerely hope that they can contribute to the man’s prevention and happiness now.” X user added.
“Congratulations if love for idols crosses into their privacy! You are not a fan, you are a threat. You are not part of their personal life and you are not qualified for their lives beyond the stage. Another wrote it.
“So you need Engenes to stop hype photos taken by Sasaengs or ordinary individuals. Airport photos, outside of official schedules, etc. Photos taken without the consent of members should not be posted here from Get Go.” A netizen commented.
Some people have held accountable to the agency and prompted stronger precautions sooner.
“You do something in the end, you always make things worse to the point that affects your artists like this. If you take care of them and protect them the right way and the way they deserve it, then they don’t need to go through this.” Written by X user.
“I’m happy that this is happening, but it was just a minimal and there have been so many opportunities where we were able to start a safety ground before it got worse. Another commented.
“From the airport, handle security and don’t point your camera to your face. Protect the artists.” The fan said.
