Leicester City scored a 13-hour Premier League goal as they defeated an eight-game losing run in a 2-2 draw at Brighton.
It looked like another tragic afternoon for the fox when Joao Pedro netted the opener from the spot after Connor Cody’s handball was discovered by Var. However, Stephy Mavididi got caught up in the action by Leicester, leveling before the break to finish eight Premier League matches without goals.
Brighton was booed in several sections of the full-time, faithful home, and returned from another Pedro penalty – again awarded by Val, but Caleb Okoli led Leicester’s level.
The result is only delaying the inevitability of fox relegation, as it is 14 points from safety, but this was a brighter performance.
For Brighton, this was another inactive performance at home against the newly promoted aspect – they ended the season as they didn’t beat Ipswich, Southampton and Leicester at home.
