Bobby Frey is the latest celebrity to publicly lament the loss of Anne Burrell.
As tragically detailed this week, the worst chef host died in a Brooklyn residence on June 17th.
She was only 55 years old.

Late Wednesday, the 60-year-old restaurant appears to have died of cardiac arrest.
“America’s Worst Cook was the most fun show on TV. Your co-hosts (including me) all lined up for Anne Burrell’s ride,” Frey wrote about his colleagues via his Instagram story.
“The biggest gift I got from AB was to attract me to the world of Maine Coon Cats (including Nacho).

Based on a 911 call made Tuesday morning, Barrel’s husband Stuart Claxton discovered that his wife was not responding to the bathroom shower floor.
TMZ previously reported that Burrell was “unconscious” when Claxton met her between 7am and 8am
Paramedics eventually arrived at the scene, but after declaring Anne Burrel was dead, they were taken to the hospital and placed in an ambulance.
Burreel’s official cause of death has not yet been confirmed by the Chief Medical Inspection Bureau.


The 55-year-old began with a small screen career as an Iron Chef America Sou Chef. She continued to host her own show, the restaurant chef’s secret secrets for nine seasons.
Other programs featured Barrel in prominent roles include Chef Wantef, Chopted, Food Network Star.
Her recent stint on the network took place at House of Knives, which premiered this March.


Along with Frey, Rachel Ray opened yesterday about Barrel with her own long tribute.
“I can’t believe it. A very strong, unvibrant, fearless woman can disappear quickly because she’s full of life and love,” Ray captioned an Instagram upload.
“Anne had a great taste in music and life. She was a strength in her kitchen, in any room, in every life she touched.
“I miss her friendship so deeply. Anyone she touched will miss her. Everyone who sent love to Stuart and knew and loved Anne. We have lost someone special.”


Rockstar authors like Cook served as mentor to America’s worst chefs in full running, starting in 2010.
Frey was one of the famous spinning chefs who competed with the barrel and appeared in Shiki.
“Anne was a notable person and a culinary talent. She teaches, competes, always shares the importance of food in her life and the joys that delicious meals can bring,” she wrote the Food Network this week in its own statement.
“Our idea is with Anne’s family, friends and fans at this time of great loss.”
