Lindy Lee is a major donor to the Democratic Party and has been in the news frequently since the 2024 election. She claimed that no one in the Harris campaign took responsibility for spending more than $1 billion and losing anyway.
She doubts anyone would entrust such funds to the party again.
She says the Democratic Party now has a “smell of losers” as a party.

Lindy Lee, director of the Democratic National Committee’s National Finance Committee, said President-elect Donald Trump’s victory has weakened the Democratic Party to the point where it smells like a “loser.”
“Unfortunately, I think the Democratic Party has a smell of loser throughout the party,” Lee, a prominent fundraiser for the party, said on “Fox & Friends Weekend.”
Big Tech leaders such as Google CEO Sundar Pichai, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg have all met with Trump or, in Altman’s case, Trump after winning the election. I have donated directly to his inaugural committee.
“Speaking as a Democrat myself, I’m not happy to say this. I feel like the Democratic Party is going to be left in the wilderness for at least the next four to eight years, but Jeff Bezos is probably going to support You’ll be thanking your lucky stars that you put that on hold,” Lee said. “They are doing everything they can right now to continue de-escalation.”
