“When I wrote ‘Ever New,’ I had no idea it would touch so many people for so many decades,” Glenn-Copeland said in a statement. “Last year, when a fan wrote to me to say that she had played ‘Ever New’ for the birth of her child, I cried. Now, this collaboration with the genius that is Sam Smith makes sure our lives are It’s real evidence that it’s new.”
