Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont) announced that he will remain as Ranking Member of the Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, making protecting Social Security and Medicare a top priority.

Senate News: Bernie Sanders says he will remain the top Democrat on the Senate Health Committee after serving as its chair for the past two years.

Sanders will remain on the advocacy committee and also hold a seat on the Senate Finance Committee. Bernie Sanders He has fought fiercely in the Senate to improve health care, save pensions, and protect Social Security and Medicare.
