Bella HadidShe’s gearing up for a legal battle with Adidas…sources say she has hired lawyers to take on the sportswear giant.
A source familiar with the situation told TMZ… Bella has hired an attorney to sue Adidas for failing to fulfill their public responsibilities, essentially saying she feels Adidas has spearheaded a cruel and harmful campaign.
Our source says she resents BH for running a campaign that seems to link anyone to tragedies like the Munich massacre at the 1972 Olympics… violence is at odds with BH’s own views.
BTW…we’re hearing that Bella is still under contract with Adidas, despite previous reports that the company had fired her.
In case you missed it… Adidas I made Bella’s face. These retro sneakers are inspired by the incident in which 11 Israeli athletes were taken hostage by terrorists and killed at the 1972 Munich Olympics.
Adidas apologized, saying it had not intended to make a statement in relation to the historical tragedy. Earlier in the day, Adidas announced it was amending the campaign.
Bella seems to be telling those around him that he didn’t know what he was getting into when he signed… and he’s placing the blame on Adidas.
We’ve reached out to Adidas but have not heard back yet.
