“Yes, Pho Kasi Siempre, at the end of the day, Nandith Naman Tayo Sa Pinas. Piripinas Palin An Mamaharin.”
“Buo naman na po yung loob ko na magpapa-draft.”
When Belem passed the application by the May 23 deadline, she expressed in an interview that she was still considering her options, focusing on potential stints and sad piripinas overseas.
Belem missed the first day of the combine on Friday due to her commitment to NU at Irocos Norte, which was previously booked by the school, appeared at the opening of the mall and supported the Nazareth School, representing the NCRAA team that dominated the 2025 Parallon Pan Bangsa Secondary Girls Volleyball Final.
“We just arrived around 7:30am and said we could at least stop by. But I said I missed it yesterday. I told myself, my body might still be able to attend at least half a day of combinations. At the end of the day, it’s about setting priorities.”
“In NU, there was a commitment for the SM opening event at Laoag. It was previously scheduled. That’s what we do every time we win a championship. As long as my body can handle it, and even if I commit, I do it.

All external spikers are predicted to be the overall overall pick of this talent-rich 60-player draft class.
However, she still joins scrimmage and drills on the second day to prove herself, and is not hanging over her glory.
“Hindi ko naman po iniisip na ako yung is a talented malamiling player na nagpa-draft. Hindi pa rin po,” Belem said.
“Iba pa rin po siyempre kasi can be combined with coach Paramakita Ka ng and MGA leader NG PVL team Kung Paano Ka Makipag-Interact and other players.”
The 22-year-old Belem became sentimental and entered a new chapter 11 years from high school to college, watching high school coach Babes Castillo do the combine and drill with teammates Sheenato Ring and Erin Pangirinan.
“It felt like a recurrence from before, I ate Erin and Sheena. [Castillo] It was there. “Yeah, he was my coach.” It’s been a long time since we last saw each other,” she said.
“It was really overwhelming. Honestly, it was a bit sad. I was thinking, ‘Yesterday was my last day at NU, so I’m already in the draft now.” It’s a bit emotional, but I’m very excited to go to the pro.
