The news was shared on her Instagram page on Friday, July 5, and revealed that her real name is Alexandrapassed away in June. No cause of death was released, but her loss was described as “sudden, unexpected and devastating to all who knew her.”

The statement was accompanied by a photo of Alex holding a pet bird, with the word “In Memoriam” written above it, and asked for privacy to allow all who knew her to process their grief.
The caption read, “Please respect their wishes. They appreciate all of your support but need time to heal in private. A memorial will be posted on YouTube and Instagram at a later date. Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time.”
Alex has gained over 690,000 subscribers on YouTube since uploading her first video in December 2017. She also recently joined Twitch, doing her last livestream there on June 25th.
Alex’s most popular content includes eating only 7-Eleven food in Japan for a week, which garnered over 4 million views, as well as a popular video of her pet bird “whispering” into a microphone for five minutes straight.
She has also spoken about some very personal matters, and in July 2023, she spoke about divorcing her husband. groupThe year before, she had spoken out about dealing with trolls.
Alex was 30 years old.
