Police in Aurora, Colorado, have arrested 14 people on suspicion of orchestrating a violent armed home invasion at The Edge at Raleigh Apartments.
The incident occurred just before 2:30 a.m., when a group of men and women entered the apartment, abducted two residents, and assaulted them. a terrible ordeal.
The victims were moved to other apartments in the same complex, where they were “threatened and detained.” One of the victims suffered stab wounds, but fortunately his injuries were not life-threatening.
Aurora police quickly responded and took those involved into custody, with Chief Todd Chamberlain calling the crime “without a doubt a gang incident.”
“They were pistol whipped, beaten and abused,” Chamberlain said. “So, does that qualify as torture for me? Yes, it does.”

Chamberlain said the violent home invasion was “definitely a gang incident.”
The Aurora Police Chief did not specifically link it to a particular gang, but said, “There is speculation that they are likely affiliated with TdA.” [Tren de Aragua] gang. “
The Miami Herald newspaper explained before Torren de Aragua is known as a “bloodthirsty” gang with “many” members known for “the use of brutal violence”.
The gang operates as an “umbrella organization of smaller gangs specializing in all kinds of crimes, from kidnapping, extortion and drug trafficking to prostitution, robbery and murder-for-hire,” the Herald reported.
Chamberlain set fire to the White House during a press conference regarding the arrest.
“I’ve had discussions with White House officials,” he said. “That person basically said to me, ‘Once immigrants cross the border, that’s all we really care about.'”
To me, that’s a problem,” Chamberlain added. “That’s a big problem.”

Same apartment as the summer viral video
You may remember that this is the very same apartment complex where a video went viral showing gangs overtaking this apartment complex over the summer.
“We have focused extensively on that area,” the Aurora Police Chief explained. He did not suggest there was any connection between the summer video and the latest home invasion.
In fact, Chamberlain said those gang members likely fled the area.

President-elect Donald Trump spoke about the incident on the campaign trail as Democrats sought to downplay the seriousness of the situation.
“In Aurora, Colorado, we see a group of very strong young thugs from Venezuela occupying a large area, including a building,” President Trump said. “They’re taking over buildings. They’ve got big rifles, but they’re taking over buildings. We’re not going to let this happen. We’re not going to let them destroy our country.”
