Game Pass has announced a new lineup of games that will be added to its monthly subscription package.
The new games include “Crash Bandicoot N. Sane,” “Creatures of EVA,” and “Mafia: Definitive Edition.”
Xbox Wire’s August selection includes a variety of games, including launch-day exclusives, classics, and games leaving service in August.
Game Pass August lineup announced
Creatures of Ava is a day one Game Pass exclusive from Inverge Studios. In this action-adventure game, you take on the role of an empathetic creature rescuer who uses his or her powers to protect the world’s inhabitants.
Crash Bandicoot is a character who needs no introduction: Crash Bandicoot is coming to Game Pass as part of 2017’s N.Sane Trilogy, a platforming, box-breaking action game set in a jungle world.
The collection features the games that started your love affair with the furry, sneaker-wearing mascot: Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, and Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped are all coming to Game Pass on August 8.
Mafia: Definitive Edition, a period crime saga, is coming to Game Pass on August 13. It is a fictionalized account of the Cosa Nostra and a taxi driver’s rise to the top of the criminal underworld in 1930s America.
Other Game Pass announcements for August
As we gear up for fall, there are plenty of other titles for gamers to keep an eye on, with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 being a big part of the subscription with new 6v6 maps, weapons, and cosmetic items exclusive to Game Pass members.
Alongside the PC version of the slick first-person shooter, the console versions of Valorant are also included in Game Pass, and subscribers can link their Riot Games account to get a 20% boost in XP for the Battle Pass and event content.
No Man’s Sky: Worlds Part I has been released and is completely free for fans of globetrotting exploration games. The game’s update (version 5.0) has enhanced the diversity of the environments and added a ton of gameplay features.
Sea of Thieves: Season 13 is also on display, giving fans of the action-packed game a chance to take over villain Flameheart’s flagship. The Burning Blade is the highlight of the boss fight, and those lucky enough to defeat the pirate defenses can take control of a band of skeleton pirates and raid coasts around the world in Flameheart’s name or as a liberation army against Flameheart’s faction.
