Luka Doncic says he needs to pass more
There were three high-volume ball handlers in Luka Doncic, Lebron James and Austin Reaves, and the Lakers found their rhythm well during the regular season. But the trio was full of Game 1.
They combined with just seven assists, Don Chic taking up only one while coughing five turnovers. His assist-to-turnover ratio of 0.2 was the lowest of his postseason career.
When asked if there was more post-match ball distribution, Luka Donsic replied:
“Yeah, of course. I really have no way to deal with that. Yeah, I have to go by more.”
Game 2 between the Timberwolves and Lakers is set at 10pm ET on Tuesday.
