[. . .] And further south, SVG Sailing Week St. Vincent is planning to have Grenadine (SVG) April 13th to 21st. The event will blend sailing races with cultural immersion with authentic vincentian cuisine at a local gathering that clashes with island music.
SVG Sailing Week’s Multi Island Format introduces the archipelago’s most popular natural features, from the volcanic landscapes of St. Vincent to the hidden beaches of Mayro. Two separate regattas are planned: the Bougainvillea cup (April 13th to 15th), and uses lace legs from the mainland to Union Island, Maylow and Canoan via Grenadine.
Next, the Bekiei Star Regatta (April 16th to 21st), offers twin events: around Bequia Race and Navy Headquarters triangles. Following the race, spectators and crews gather together to begin a celebration to toast the Caribbean seas.
Travelers can sail north from SVG to the dual island nations of Antigua and Barbuda Antigua Sailing Week from April 26th to May 2nd. The annual event will feature international yachts, racing boats and performance cruising boats, held at Nelson’s Dockyard, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Antigua. [. . .]
