If you’re looking for a simple, quick and delicious side dish, look no further. This past Canadian Thanksgiving made fun of these oven roasted sweet potatoes Instagram There were many requests for recipes. So let’s go.

What you need…

Sweet Potatoes 3 1/2 – 4 lbs.
1/3 cup olive oil
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1 tablespoon roasted garlic + herb blend
3/4 teaspoon powdered cinnamon
3/4 teaspoon paprika (Smoke/Sweet)
1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Note! We recommend watching the video below to learn more about the recipe. If you would like to make this recipe gluten-free, please check the full list of ingredients to ensure it meets your specific gluten-free dietary restrictions.

Peeling the sweet potatoes is an option, but I’ve found that I get better results if I rub them well and cut them into equal-sized pieces so they roast evenly. Basically skin-on.

Whisk everything in a bowl (excluding potatoes) until combined.

Place the cleanly cut potatoes in a baking dish and pour the liquid over the sweet potatoes, stirring well to coat. Preheat oven to 400°F.

Place uncovered on the center rack. After 15 minutes, remove, stir and continue roasting.

Bake for another 15-20 minutes (Depends on how big you cut it) and prepare for service. You can also add a little salt to finish, or like I mentioned in the video, some chopped parsley, rosemary, and thyme.

In the video, we shared tips on how to check if sweet potatoes are fully roasted (bid).
