Despite the presence of scorpions in most parts of Iran, limited research has been conducted in areas where water absorption is high. This study examined scorpion samples collected from Cistan and Balchestan provinces southeast of Iran in 2022 and 2023. Sampling identified eight species belonging to seven genus of the family Butyceae. these are Androctonus Rostami Barahoei, 2025, A. Cystanus Barahoei & Mirshamsi, 2022, compsobutus yagi Barahoe sp. n., Hottentotta Sistanensis Kovarik et al. , 2018, Mesobutus rakhshanii Barahoei, 2022, Odontobutus Tirgari Mirshamsi et al. , 2013, Orthotyl Supersa (Birula, 1900) and Sassanidotus gracilis (Birula, 1900). compsobutus yagi Barahoe sp. n. Collected and described from North Zahedan based on morphological and molecular (COI) studies. Four species of the fauna of Zahedan County, three species of the fauna of Miljave County, and two species of the fauna of Kash and Heilmand County are new reports. New species and new records diagnostic letters are provided. The phylogeny of new species is being discussed.
