Abstract
Genus Macrinus Simon currently contains six species that occur primarily in South America, with records from Tobago, Venezuela, Guyana, Ecuador, Bolivia and Brazil. The single species is found in the Mohab Desert, California, USA. This paper describes new species Macrinus Based on one woman from the state of Para in northern Brazil. The new species can be easily distinguished from its homologue by the central central shape of the epigan, which resembles a chespawn. Plus, we provide new records M. succineus Simon, M. pollexensis (Schenkel) M. jaegeri Rheims and updated distribution maps for all South American species.
