A majority of Americans, including a significant number of Democrats, see Biden’s deteriorating mental health as a national security threat, according to a new Rasmussen Reports poll.
Biden’s address to the nation this week did little to ease concerns, as he appeared neither mentally nor fully focused.
As a result, calls continue to grow for him to step down not only from the election campaign but from office as well.
Washington Examiner Report:
A majority of Democrats, including 39% of Democrats, worry that Biden is a “threat” to U.S. national security.
A new poll finds that President Joe Biden’s declining mental health is rapidly becoming a threat to national security, a finding that is expected to bolster efforts to oust him from the White House before his term ends on January 20.
Over the weekend, after his debacle in the first debate with Republican nominee Donald Trump and the media began to pick up on his stumbles and stammers on the campaign trail, Biden reversed course and announced he was dropping out of the 2024 re-election race.
Some have suggested Biden has “dementia” and called for him to step down immediately, but Biden has also said there are other factors contributing to his ill health, including jet lag, COVID-19 and lack of sleep…
In a new Rasmussen Reports poll obtained by Secrecy, 61% said Biden’s “mental decline” is a threat to national security. Surprisingly, a Heartland Institute poll conducted before Biden dropped out of the reelection campaign found that 39% of Democrats and 62% of independents agreed.
It’s nearly impossible to argue against.

Of course, the downside of Biden leaving office is that Kamala will replace him.
