This is the second intended fix.
The 14-year-old Kentucky boy shot and killed two men who entered the house with the intention of stealing firearms.
The teenager, who is not named because he is a minor, has already been released after it was confirmed that he acted in self-defense.

On Saturday, February 15th, 2025, at about 4:24am, Clay County 911 contacted after London after the Kentucky State Police (KSP) to report a shooting within city restrictions in Manchester. The Manchester Police Station responded to the scene and found two individuals who had been shot and killed.
They requested the KSP’s assistance in investigating the issue.
Upon arrival, the troopers determined that the two men involved had forced into the residence with the intention of stealing firearms from the safe.
During the break-in, a juvenile resident of the house spotted the intruder and saw them holding a firearm.
The boy, acting in self-defense, retrieved his handgun and shot both men before fleeing through the bedroom window.
The two men have since been identified as 44-year-old Roger D. Smith and 51-year-old Jeffrey M. Allen.
Smith was taken to the hospital and succumbed to his injuries, but was asserted that Allen was dead at the scene.

Also, how he got the handgun remains unknown, and couch confirmed it belongs to his father.
The boy is not currently in custody and has not been charged against him.
Police investigations are ongoing.
