Nvidia Revenue nearly doubled in the third quarter and was up 94% on an annual basis. Nevertheless, this is a slowdown for the chip maker, which posted sales growth of 122%, 262% and 265%, respectively, in the past three quarters thanks to demand for artificial intelligence chips. The company reported higher-than-expected sales and profits for the current fiscal year, and also announced higher-than-expected forecasts for the fourth quarter. Nvidia stock fell about 3% in premarket trading on Thursday following the news.
3. Chrome standard
Justice Department antitrust officials have decided to ask a judge to force Alphabet Inc.’s Google to sell its Chrome browser, in a historic crackdown on the world’s biggest tech companies.

The Department of Justice is promoting google Selling the Chrome browser to create a more level playing field with other search competitors. The move follows an August ruling in which a US judge ruled that Google has a monopoly in the search market. Chrome provides data to companies that they use to sell targeted ads to consumers. The Justice Department also said Google should be prevented from prioritizing its search service over other products.
