4 star Te Ian commits to Notre Dame
The Irish luck hit again.
That’s because four-star tight end Ian Premar has committed to the team. Great Bend (Indiana) Committed to Notre Dame in Kansas, Iowa and Kansas.
Before he made his official visit to Notre Dame, a Kansas native told his rivals what he was looking for at school. This description seemed to fit perfectly with Notre Dame.
“To begin the victorious bloodline,” Prem said. “I’m a big competitor, so I want to go to a school where I can succeed and win.
“Then I can keep helping them win. Plus, do they depend on 12 people or are they throwing the ball to tight ends? And then they’re developing NFL players?
After the official visit, Premer saw exactly what he needed to see. He knew Notre Dame was his place.
“I think I’m on the side of football. I think they ran the national championship last year. I think the ’26 class speaks of itself with the type of guys they’re getting.
“Coach Freeman develops an incredible culture there and can speak from all his commitments. Then I clearly love the coaching staff. It’s just the football aspect. You go to the academic aspect of it and obviously they’re special in the area as well.
Premer is a versatile tight end that should be an immediate downfield threat to Irish people. His exploitation on the basketball court also won his entire state honors there. Premer is explosive on the basketball court, and his athleticism has been translated into the soccer field.
He is currently taking part in the Notre Dame class ranked now Top 5 in the country. Premer is the second tight end in the class to join the recently committed Fast Riser Preston Fryzel.
