4-star SAF Joey O’Brien discovered the top performer from OT7 Week 4
Dallas – Week 4 of 4 OT7The fourth season of the book is available in the book.
High-level recruits from across the country competed in Texas for the fourth and final week of the OT7 regular season. It was ahead of the following weekend’s Golden Ticket Tournament and the OT7 Championship, which took place in Florida from June 26-29th.
The field featured several blue-chip recruits in the 2026, 2027 and even 2028 class. This weekend’s field included players who have committed to Georgia, LSU, Texas, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Iowa, Rutgers and Pennsylvania.
Let’s take a look at the top performers on the first day. And here are 10 top performers across the two-day span of the fourth week at OT7 at Dallas College’s Mountain View campus, found by rival MVP Joey O’Brien.
1. 4 Star Safety Joey O’Brien
Joey O’Brien was the first day MVP at OT7 on Saturday and continued his outstanding run in coverage once again to close the weekend. The four-star SAF announced five intercepts on the first day, adding the sixth on Sunday. Four of O’Brien’s picks were returned for scores this weekend.
O’Brien also described some more big plays in coverage. It covers a massive 6-foot-3 and 180 pounds of real estate. He is intense and long, and consistency puts himself around the ball. He played in the sixth sense and was the MVP who beat the game during the action in the fourth week.
2. 4 star slot wr vans spaford (Georgia Commit)
Vance Spaford was one of the leaders of the reception two days later in Dallas. California’s top 40 prospects also ranked tops on touchdown catches, and were skilled below and in the middle of the field. Rivals’ No. 2 slot has strong hands and everything is thrown in his direction. Spafford is electric with balls in hand, and tends to be open and consistent. Oral Georgia showed some real toughness that made some catches through contact in the end zone.
3. 4-star WR Jabarimack (LSU Commit)
Elite WR Jabari Mack was a regular source of big theatre all weekend. The four-star prospect from the boots were consistently open and frequently targeted – and abolished with his catch radius and difficult grabs that demonstrated his ability to stand up and win in contested catch situations. Mac is an explosive route runner and is dangerous with his balls in the air. Committed to LSU, the TOP-100 WR enjoys a very productive offseason, including both powerful shows on weekends at OT7.
4. 4 Star TE Mark Bowman
Elite Te Mark Bowman traveled at a different speed than other pass-catchers of his height. California’s top 30 prospects are extremely talented, winning a 50-50 ball, piloting them in the middle of the field. Bowman catches everything thrown in his direction and works hard in the middle of the field and in one-on-one coverage. The 4-star TE is a crisp route runner that can stretch the field and play on the rims per end zone.
5. 4 star WR Keeeyun Chapman
Keeyun Chapman is a different manufacturer working outside. The large frame multi-sport athletes were reliable to move the stick and operate the downfield. Landon Duckworth owned receiver – his high school teammate at Jackson (Alabama) High – Chapman was the source of multiple touchdowns. His size has plus ball skills, with defenders presenting major discrepancies in coverage.
6. 4 Star Assarimore
The four-star Assarimore is one of the top targets of the five-star QB Rider Lions, and is also covered during the two-day competition. The MOA stretched the field and separated by short areas and downfields of the route. He also worked well after the catch. Utah’s coveted Ass also adjusted the wild two-minute stretch on the first day. He scored two touchdowns and scored a pick six before halftime in Saturday’s game.
7. 4 Star Slot WR Miles McCuffy (2027)
Miles McAfee was one of the most productive pass-catchers on the slate in the fourth week. Maryland’s 4-star WR was Gavin Sidwar’s favorite target. McAfee consistently found holes in defense, and was able to hold hands and run around for the lump’s profits. He brings an electric skill set to the slots as he tends to play at multiple levels on the field.
8. 4 Star Slot WR Trenton Yancey (2027)
4 star slot receiver Trenton Yancey I was constantly moving the stick and operating purposefully in the center of the field. Yancey is extremely reliable and dynamic with the smallest glimpse of sunlight. Top 15 recruits from Texas in the 2027 cycle can quickly navigate downfield and play at multiple levels of the field.
9. 3 star wr elias coke (Rutgers Commit)
In 2026, the three-star WR Elias Coke won several highlight grabs over the weekend. The oral Rutgers in Pennsylvania were excellent at operating down the sidelines and catching through contact. Coke showed strong hands throughout the fourth week and played big sparks on offense.
10. 4 Star SAF Jet Washington
Jet Washington consistently found himself around football – and after two days of competition in Dallas, he was one of the leaders of the intercept. On the field, the Top 100 SAF is known for his physical presence. In this setting, a 4-star prospect showed his range and coverage skills. And it showed how easy and instinctively he works in a 6-foot-3, 200-pound frame. The multisport standout is the natural playmaker who spent a lot of time this weekend.
Additional notes from week 4:
– Texas QB Commit Dear Bell I worked surgically in a short pass game. South Florida’s top 100 passersby were thrown with great timing and expectations – ended the competition with a very strong first and second day work through two days of stretching.
– 4 star QB Luke Fahey It was excellent at distributing football into an array of blue chip pass catchers. Fahey was consistently on time and the point, effectively passing through his readings and able to solve a good decision after a good decision. He had a very strong two days of work.
– Star 2027 WR Easton Royal On the second day he was in the “just missed” category and continued to play both offensive and defensive throughout the weekend. The Royal is a big play spark that you can put your defenders on top or miss on the open field. The Royal also snapped to the nickel defender, moving well sideways and in coverage.
– 4 star QB Gavin Sidwar He was another player in the mix for the top performers of both days. The Pennsylvania passersby showed great timing and ball placement with the receiver’s cast, an excellent fitting throw to the perfect window, and continued to touch on some of his deep ball throws.
– 4 Stars Lb Anthony Davis On Friday nights, we cover a ton of real estate from sidelines to sidelines, but the 7-for-7 setting on Saturday and Sunday always sniffed the pass and got the pass in coverage. Davis moves well as a linebacker and has great football instincts.
– 4 Star SAF Jordan Smith It is physically impressive and moves at different speeds. The South Georgia Blue Chipper has excellent range and can quickly close the pass. Smith jumps around the field and sets the tempo with his playstyle.
