Finca Vegare’s Ernest Hemingway Museum will be in partnership with the National Council of Cultural Heritage to host the 20th Ernest Hemingway International Colloquium in Havana, Cuba, June 25-8, 2025. [The museum is located at Calle Vigía s/n e/ Steinhart y Santos, San Francisco de Paula, San Miguel del Padrón, Havana.]
Ernest Hemingway lived in Cuba in Finca Vigia, in the village of San Francisco de Paula near Havana, between 1939 and 1959. You can find paper and registration information calls here. As an ACN (Cuba News Agency) Written, “This event features presentations of research works created by academics, academics, university professors, Cubans and foreign writers. It includes eight papers created by participants from Japan, Argentina, Canada and the United States – in addition to the digital version of the novel. At the Colloquium, Michael Connors will be presenting “The Spanish Influence of Fincavee Gaia, the only Ernest Hemingway Living Museum in the world.” Dr. Connors wrote: “We will be joining Havana, Cuba to explore the former home of Ernest Hemingway, whose legendary author wrote his biggest work. Surrounded by hills outside Havana, Finca Viga offers an unusual glimpse into Hemingway’s life, discovering the original manuscript, our history, by discovering the original manuscript, our history.
