These new Puritans – “Season of Hell”
These new Puritans, who have recently cried out from Charli XCX at Coachella, have a lively new single-out called “A Season in Hell.” They got Alexander Skarsgard for the music video directed by Harley Weir. “The song has two pipe organs, two sopranos and 200 drums,” band Jack Barnett shared. “As I was writing it, images of vast, inhumane machines kept coming into my mind – giant chains, pulleys, crushed gear, molten iron. Huge machines running into the centre of the Earth. He, perhaps we could have persuaded him to do the artwork for the album.”

Car seat headrest – “Cat (and good luck, man)”

Puppy – “Olive Garden”
Ahead of their new album release Who will take care of the dog? This Friday, Pup dropped another single, “Olive Garden.” “This is a very stupid song, but it’s also a great song,” Stephen Babcock said in a statement. “The band gets all the credits for turning it into something really special. Zack (the drummer) listened to my cute acoustic guitar demo and decided to try and make it as heavy as possible. It’s a bit upsetting and uncomfortable, but catchy and fun.

Chris Farren – “The Cause of Death”
Chris Farren is back with a new single featuring Susie’s True Lexi McCoy-Caso and G Leonardo on backing vocals. “The cause of death” is about the pathological curiosity we all have (.. right ??) and there is death news, but the cause remains ambiguous,” Farren explained. “It’s a strange, kind of awful, eavesdropping tendency to make me seem embarrassed and shaking. Writing this song was an attempt to work through those ideas and ideas.

Sea Lemon – “Giving”
Sea Lemon has released another unforgettable dreamy song from her debut LP Prize diving. “Growing up, I never knew the term ‘intrusive thoughts’, but I often had them. As I get older, my particularly disturbing thoughts are what I want to go into an abandoned house, even though I know it is a horrifying idea,” explained Natalie Lou. “Give in” means giving intrusive thoughts and the relief and consequences that occur afterwards. Opal Mag has released a new single called “I don’t like you, but I Love You.” “This slow, burning track explores an emotional tug of war between love and frustration,” explained the British singer-songwriter. “It’s about the internal struggle of falling in love with someone but dislike their actions and self-sabotage. “I don’t like you, but I love you” is about the push and pull of wanting to stay in a relationship but losing yourself in the process. ”

Lido Pimienta shared “Aún Te Qiero”, the latest single from her full orchestra new album Label the. The particularly memorable new song was co-produced by Pimienta and composer Owen Palette. “Aún Te Quiero” will be translated into “I Love You,” Pimienta explained. “I sing to the past Lido. I sing to people who once thought my life would be in my life forever. Friends, lovers, family. But falls happen. We hurt each other. Still, I’m soft in my heart. I still love the enemy. Rael Neil – “Wild Waters”
On Friday, Rael Neal releases her new album A complete strangerAnd today she shares another single, the charming “Wild Waters.” The music video gives you a glimpse into the 34-minute film that comes with the LP. “The video for “Wild Waters” was a collaboration with choreographer and dancer Sandy (Denton),” Neil shared. “I had this vision of dancers playing the role of dancers who open the portal and perform dances calling out the characters. In perfect sync, when I approached Sandy with the idea, she was already building a two-person dance that fits seamlessly.

Westside Cowboy – “Shell”
The Manchester Quartet Westside Cowboy unleashed “Shell,” a stirring new single produced by English teacher Lewis Whiting. “‘Shell’ is widely accepted,” the band commented. “Whether it’s a perception of what you have or a perception that change is inevitable, the song is loosely based on the film. They say, “I think it’s going to start a little more seriously, slowly, but I’ll kick in right away.”

Badbadnotgood & vcr – “I found the light (Beer Street)”
Badbadnotgood is working with Veronica Camille Ratliff, a Memphis musician who records as a VCR, to seek a luscious seven-minute track called “Found a Light (Beale Street).” “This is more than a song for me,” she said. “It’s a milestone. I’ve been cooking this kind of sound for years. I’ve been cooking this kind of sound, from writing on my desk in Southern Memphis to composing orchestral works at USC. This collaboration with Bad Bud Notogood is what makes collective resilience the black community a sanctuary.

Water Machine – “River”
Water Machine has announced its debut full length, God Park – June 29th – And we shared “River.” “The “river” is about your neighbor and hypothetically steals your boat,” the band said. “We wrote the bassline, but the rest came quickly. The harmony was a lot of fun recording. Hand and Flora are altos, so we had our hand partners sing high notes.”

Humor – “Plagiarist”
Humor is their debut album, ” Learn GreekArrived on August 8th. They also shared their lead single, “Plagiarist.” Vocalist Andreas Christrowdis said, “‘Plagiarism’ is a lyricist and exhausting his ideas and inspiration. In the song, the character is pressured to put words on music written by the band, and he realizes that he is already finding it, as he has already used everything, and that he is discovering that he is being punished as injustice and punished for death.

Beaming – “Color” [feat. Kississippi]
Beaming shares the new single from its self-titled debut EP on June 13th at Rose Garden. The appropriately lively “color” in the dance features backing vocals from Zoe Reynolds of the state of Kishisippi. “It’s about making a difference in your life, getting backwards and finding something that really makes you happy,” explained Derek Ted. “The “Color” began when Braden recorded a sample of the keyboard with good intentions while visiting a family on the East Coast.
