Billy Woods – “Sad”
Billy Woods is back with news of his next solo LP, Gorillagthis is produced by Kenny Segal and led by an attractive “miserable.” Provides some context for the album title, the rapper states: “When I was nine, I wrote a story about the evil goriwog. My mother read it and said it was overly derivative and requires some work. I’m here.”
Lucy Dacas – “Talk”
The latest Lucy Duks single “Talk” is dynamic and awful while easing listeners. “Why can’t we talk anymore? She sings. She’ll be appearing on the singer-songwriter’s upcoming albums Eternity is emotion.
Erin Durant – “If Love Has a Name”
Erin Durant has released a new album, Firetrailon May 16th, Ruination Record Co., Ltd. arrived produced by TV’s Kyp Malone on Radio, with the LP recorded at Sonic Ranch during the summer 2021 pandemic. It is led by the touching, beautiful atmosphere of “Love was named,” and she sings.
Urshi and Moore’s Mother – “The Difficult Truth”
Sumac and Moor’s mother has released “Hard Truth,” the latest preview of their upcoming collaborative album film. It features additional vocals by Candice Hoyes. This is a track that continues in less than two minutes, employing Throbs and Haunt on the same scale.

Julia Sanders – “Dark Matter”
Julia Sanders has released her third album, Dark matterthe title track of Ester Rose Assist introduces the theme of tackling difficult questions rather than looking for answers. “This song has become a way of writing about the unknowns we live every day and how we work hard to create meaning,” explained Sanders. “It starts with a line about seemingly endless instincts that makes you wonder why, but the older I get, the more I get, the more I resonate with later poems. I love the way she builds harmonies and the unique way our voices click together. Her bright notes in the chorus are mixed with little riffs from Steve’s guitar. It makes me think about a shooting star, or a lighter jump in space.”
Hannah Cohen – “It’s dust”
Catskills-based singer/songwriter Hannah Cohen shared new tracks from her upcoming LP Earth Star Mountain. According to Cohen, “Dusty” is lovely and emotionally complicated, “Dusty” is “the merciless passage of time that we all experience, and the way beauty and sadness intertwined at every turn.”
Maia Friedman – “Russian Blue”
Maia Friedman previewed her upcoming LP Goodbye, long winter shadow The new single, “Russian Blue,” will be released in a gentle manner. “Imagine being 13 years old in 1999. There was a huge wave of films and media that preached “one true love.” “I was consumed by romance, and I already found my soulmate in my cat, so I was sure I would never find love. It was completely naive, but in my early teens, what a vulnerable period,” she continued: “The cats taught me how to live sometimes. They are completely independent with an attitude of ‘I don’t give you sex’, but at the same time, they are sensitive enough to step into the door when they are crying, and at the same time lying on a body con man when they are sick. They take time and space for themselves and soak in two of my favorite sunshine pools in my life. ”
Tanya Ayer – “I’m here now”
Montreal artist Taya Iyer has released “I Am Now,” the opening track for her upcoming album Tide/Tieseductive and grounded. “‘I’m here now’ is a meditation on presence. When everything was on fire, we’ve returned to our connections between ourselves and the world around us,” Iyer explained. “It’s the mantra of staying open and engaged, getting over discomfort, being late, loving our bodies and finding joy. For me, this song is deeply connected to my experience of chronic pain and the power of the world trying to cut off connections with our bodies. How can we return to our conversations with our bodies and the stories they carry? Through that, we find new ways to listen, love, and awaken.”
Lil Nas X – “Swish”
Lil Nas X has dropped a new single for three days in a row. The swagger “Swish” follows “Dreamboy” and “Big Dummy!” They’re all from a new album that’s probably called Dream Boy.
McLusky – “Man of Man”
McLusky shared a new song from Reunion LP The world is still here, and so is usenthusiastic “people”. “‘People Person’ is a song that gave me tinnitus, so it’s really cruel to ask me about it,” Andrew Falcow said. “It’s probably going to be overwhelmed by the world because that’s what we all want.”
étienne de Crécy – “Rising Soul” [feat. Damon Albarn]
Damon Albarn will join Etienne Decrecy on her new single, “Rising Soul.” It appears on a new record from a veteran French DJ producer warm upwill arrive this Friday. Director Etienne and Marie des Clayy dancer Marie Louise Heltogg stars in the accompanying video.
