10 great Nintendo Switch games to check out in 2024

This holiday season is the swan song for the Nintendo Switch. Nintendo told us as much when it said its long-awaited Switch successor would be announced by April 2025. But with a string of great titles in 2024, Nintendo thankfully hasn’t fallen into seniority as it looks to graduate to sequels for Switch. Coming to consoles about 8 years ago. So let’s take a quick look back at some of our favorite games on Switch in 2024. One of the great things about this year’s Switch titles is that they’re all working on their Switch follow-ups. We have confirmed that the next generation will be backward compatible. (And with any luck, the game’s performance issues on the current Switch will be resolved when you play on the next model.)
