Things are not going well for Trump in California. The president is doing his best to cause a crisis, but California is not playing together.
After Trump’s border, the emperor retreated to arrest the government’s Gavin NewsomTrump decided to suggest that arresting the California governor is a great idea.
Trump told reporters:
If I were Tom, I would do that. I think it’s great. Gavin likes to promote, but I do have a terrible job. Look, he, I like Gavin Newsom. He’s a good guy, but he’s grossly incompetent. Everyone knows. All you have to do is look at the little railway he is building.
It’s over 100 times the budget. I have a flag pole over there. Under budget, I always do it. under.

Trump also argued that those protesting were rebels. “The people causing the problem are professional instigators, they are rebels, they are bad people. They should be in prison.”
This is clearly not the way he wanted things. Trump wanted him to send out the National Guard, allowing Southern California to break it down into chaos and violence, and to see him as a strongman by sending the army.
Trump’s despair is rising. He wants to create an example of Los Angeles so that other cities do not resist the immigration behavior of his administration.
The Trump administration has no intention of arresting Gavin Newsom. They are afraid to do so. Newsom has actually begged them to arrest him as a way to call Trump’s bluff.
Trump always starts asking people to go to jail when the situation backfires him. Donald Trump draws himself on the horns, and his small meltdown is a sign that he is looking for a way out.
