There were some noteworthy movie and TV trailers this week, the biggest of which were Sonic the Hedgehog 3. We won’t cover it here, but be sure to check out some of the trailers included in the latest Nintendo Direct coverage (thanks to the Nintendo DS) Castlevania Game Collection).
It’s clear that summer is coming to an end, and so are the blockbuster movies. Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Next week, Looks quiet And then for a little while.
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Finally, we get to see Sonic’s nemesis Shadow, played by Keanu Reeves. Though we only get a brief glimpse of Reeves’ voice in the trailer, we get plenty of glimpses of Jim Carrey’s unkempt, depressed Dr. Robotnik and Gerald Robotnik (also played by Carrey). The film hits theaters on December 25th.
Marvel Agatha All Along, Kathryn Hahn’s Disney Plus series WandaVision The drama, which has a villainous protagonist as its main character, will begin streaming on September 18. It seems like the drama will have plenty of comedy elements, but looking at this week’s trailer, it’s clear that it will also have plenty of drama elements.
new Wallace and Gromit The film contains more stop-motion animation and is never boring. Coming to Netflix in the US this winterWallace invents a smart home device (a garden gnome) called Norbot, but things go awry when Norbot is secretly controlled by the villain Feathers McGraw. Wallace and Gromit world.
Apple is working on Ridley Scott’s Napoleon It’s available on Apple TV Plus this week, and with 48 minutes of extra footage, there’s still plenty to watch, even if you’re not planning on spending Labor Day weekend by the barbecue grill.
