Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’s brother, Jeff Walz, is reportedly considering working with former President Donald Trump, publicly criticizing him as “not the type of person you want making decisions about your future.”
The discovery was made by conservative journalist Laura Loomer, who discovered a Facebook profile for Jeff Waltz that contained a series of posts strongly critical of both Waltz’s brother and the current administration.
“We have become a third world banana republic,” the post, written in May 2023, the same day the Biden-Harris administration indicted Donald Trump in New York City, read.
Urged by followers to discuss these concerns with his brother, Jeff revealed that he hasn’t spoken to Tim in eight years and is “100% opposed to all of his ideologies.”
He further claimed that his family was taken by surprise by Tim’s foray into politics and was not given security after he was elected to public office.
“I haven’t spoken to him in 8 years. I am 100% against all of his ideologies. My family was not informed he had been selected and were denied security a few days later,” he wrote.
Another comment encouraged Jeff Waltz to “Support MAGA… Get on stage with President Trump and support him… Save this country.”
Jeff’s response was equally striking: “I thought long and hard about doing something like that. I’m torn between doing it and not involving my family. It’s a story I can tell. I’m not the one making decisions about your future.”
According to Laura Loomer, “Tim Walz and Kamala Harris are such bad presidential candidates that Walz’s brother is endorsing Donald Trump instead.”
Loomer also pointed out that Federal Election Commission records show Jeff Waltz donated to Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign.
