
British/Trinidad author and musician Anthony Joseph will be performing a concert with “The Caribbean is everywhere.”

Anthony Joseph FRSL PhD. He is an award-winning Trinidadian-born poet, novelist, academic and musician. He is the author of five poem collections and three novels. His 2018 novel Kich: The fictional biography of the Calypso icon He was a finalist for the Republic’s Awareness Award, the Royal Literary Society Encore Award, and the OCM Bocas Award for Caribbean Fiction. His latest fiction publication is an experimental novel Magic Frequency. In 2019 he was awarded the Elwood Compton Poetry Fellowship. As a musician, he released eight acclaimed albums and won the Paul Hamlyn Foundation Composers Award in 2020. He is a lecturer in creative writing at King’s University in London and a lecturer at King’s College in London.
His 2022 collection Albert’s sonnet I won Poetry 2022 TS Elliot Award OCM Bocas Award for Caribbean Poetry.
