Now her main mission is to survive, understanding that she won’t last long in this environment. Luckily, Juliette buys herself some extra time in season 1 by repairing the heat tape on her destroyed suit. Despite her repairs, the suit doesn’t last long.
Juliet heads to another silo. It’s a silo with a darker history than hers. Everyone who once lived there is dead, killed when they were sure it was safe to go outside. Now, in order to survive, Juliet must climb over rotting corpses and enter an empty but safe house.
In this silo, in the darkness, Juliet finds a broken bridge. There is light and sound on the other side. To find out what it is, she has to cross the chasm. Then she’ll need a way to get back on track.
And the natural repairers in us work to build and repair bridges.
While working, she also does construction. of the silo It will be made into a TV series in the future. If you’ve read the Hugh Howie book on which this story is based, you’ll know where this story is going. Now, for us as the audience, the hook that brings us back is no mystery, and it’s now solved, but we’re left wondering if Juliet will be able to create anything of value from her knowledge. .
This is a bold start to the show’s second season. The series takes risks with episodes featuring only one character, limited dialogue, and silent shadows.
silo It does this brilliantly by interspersing the silence and darkness with flashbacks and relying on Rebecca Ferguson’s performance. She remains one of the best actresses in streaming.
